Personal Statement Experience

As I take the first steps towards the fulfillment of my dreams , I look back at the things that I have done and the choices that I have made to get to where I am in my life . I see that over the years I have come to my own and have developed strength of character that I feel is necessary and crucial to my success . It was not easy for me , being an international student living and studying in Canada , but I feel that I have been able to develop certain intangible qualities

such as determination and leadership that will help me in the future . As such I look forward to moving forward in achieving my dreams in life with the help of the knowledge and expertise I will gain from the University Commerce Program that I get from this academic institution

My journey to this point in my life began with me being a precocious youngster , bent on getting away from the parents and exploring a new world . This , after all , was the ideal place for me to pursue my various interests such as watching movies , reading , playing basketball and even snow-boarding . I found my niche in this international society by being a leader . My natural role as a leader in life was manifested through my involvement with civic and community projects such as managing the book club and even helping out old people in the neighborhood .
