Personal Statement - Communication Major

I interact with people . I realized that in every communication process , it is vital to understand the element culture as well as verbal and non-verbal cues associated with it . By doing this , I can actively sustain new methods in increasing understanding and dynamics - particularly in a group-based setting My intention now to transfer in USC has been stimulated by my visit in the University last summer . It was in here that I saw how its environment and students can greatly help and suit my needs . I feel that being exposed

into a large community can further enhance my extrovert skills and pave the way for creating a new network of friends , peers and colleagues that can help supplement my professional goals in the future

As far as academic achievement is concerned , I also feel that I can be best suited for my chosen degree at USC . Looking at it , I have a cumulative GPA of 3 .7 . Although I believe in enriching my interpersonal abilities , I deem that this should not hamper my performance inside the classroom . Rather , I should use this as an instrument to create methods in improving specific tasks in the subjects I take

Lastly , I feel that USC should consider my application because I am confident that I can be an important asset for the University both in the academic realm and on extra-curricular activities . Throughout the years , I have sought to improve both my time management and leadership skills .
