Personal Statement

Dear Admission Committee

I am a self motivated individual interested in family and resolution as law . My background in academic and regular life has prepared me well for the demanding law school academic load . Despite getting pregnant in high School , I have been able to continue with my academics without disruption . Balancing between child rearing and academics came naturally given my life long determination to overcome challenges that comes my way . For instance , having a young son to look after did not distract me from my studies he became a source of

inspiration as I was able to graduate with an English degree in just three years instead of the normal four . Juggling between academics and seeing my child grow up has been a challenge that I have made me stronger in many ways . Apart from attending college and my son , I also had a full time job whose proceeds contributed to our upkeep . The success in attending college , full time job and a young child originated from my insistence of turning threats and challenges into opportunity I have always looked on the brighter side of things , whose positives I exploit to overcome challenges . This reputation of snapping opportunities and building the future on them will follow me to law school . My determination to succeed would most importantly for the foundations for academic success
