The learning experiences presented by the Child Development course open up opportunities for personal growth and development in terms of improving not only my professional life , but all other aspects of my life as well , particularly carrying out my role as a mother of two kids I have learned many things from the course that helped in framing my points of view and perspectives in dealing with children as they constitute unique and complex features and characteristics that demand full

awareness , understanding , and guidance

I am a proud mother of two children - a girl aged three and a boy aged seven . I am a stay-at-home mother , devoting most of my time in caring for my children and other domestic details that need to be taken care of . I am deeply involved in my children 's activities , especially in school since it is where they spend most of their time . I volunteer for various activities in their schools , such as organizing activities like parties , field trips , meetings , and such , in to become acquainted with the kind of environment they are in and to observe and learn how they grow and develop outside our home . I have placed myself in this position since I believe that children need the guidance and assistance of other people in their lives as they grow up and face things and situations that are new and unfamiliar to them - from making new friends , to talking to other people...
