Ethics pertains to the philosophical reflection on moral beliefs and practices (Hiniman , 2002 . According to the perspective of Christianity , ethics is about the good and the right . The concept of good is believed to be the values and virtues that an individual should develop . On the other hand , the idea of right is described as the moral duties of a person (Holmes , 1984 . Newall (2005 ) further explains the meaning

of morality by stating that it is the rightness or wrongness of an action . It could also be identified as a way of life or a decision In line with this , ethics is the study of these aforementioned standards as these are used by individuals in to judge their decisions and actions (Newall , 2005

Having these definitions in mind , the vital role of ethics is clearly seen . An individual has to face different decisions in his or her everyday life . In doing so , he or she needs the necessary guidelines to make sound choices . Ethics served as the standards that would aide an individual in making these decisions in ones ' life . In relation to this I also have my own personal ethics that I live by
