It not only addresses any possible concerns the committee might have regarding a potential student , but also helps them assess the personality and ability of the applicant , both as a student as well as a person . Though grades , test scores , courses and other kinds of objective data provide sufficient information based on which the College Admissions Committee can

easily approve or reject a submitted application , a personal statement offers more than a sneak preview of the student 's personal profile and character . My main reason for considering a transfer is to enjoy the benefits of a better and more suitable academic atmosphere for me , solely as a student .
