The design studio operates on a sole proprietorship structure . The owner , Jason Lin , founded JSLINDESIGN , a San Francisco based design firm in 2011 . He studied industrial design in the United States and holds a degree in Industrial Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena , California . He worked for three years starting 1992 at a design studio named One Co . where he became responsible for developing product identities with clients such as Apple and Microsoft
