REFLECTION

Over the next four years , I 'm currently taking up Healthcare Administration as my course . Being in college is a very fruitful experience . Learning is a very vital element in my growth as a Healthcare Administration student and as a person as whole . Learning itself is not an easy task . It requires constant dedication to study and to be open to new ideas

and perspective . Amidst the difficulty everything is worth doing in a learning process . Currently , my level of problem-solving , written and oral communication skills , information retrieval and utilization , and collaboration is at a satisfactory rate

The school program made me potent enough to conquer the world of professional exercise of my degree . My teachers ' competence and level of education made me learn a lot of things . Lectures were also coupled with exposure to different hospitals that made me interact with different employees and administrators . Exposure while studying is very important because it made me immersed in the reality that I will be immersed my whole life sooner or later . Lectures and immersions made me in a satisfactory level now . Of course , being in a satisfactory level is also a product of trainings that I was exposed to such as leadership and problem solving

Graduating from the Healthcare Administration course brings forth a level of awareness and a degree of maturity beyond the usual years People from all walks of life would be asking hospital policies , patient rights and benefits in addition to the account settlements which had been an awakening for me during my stay in the Philippines . I wanted to be ready right after completing the course . Managing the hospital would be one major concern especially in dealing with professional egos Doctors , nurses and a bunch of other health professionals would be dealt with considering their differences in trainings and backgrounds

I want to be a Healthcare Administrator in a hospital . A Healthcare Administrator in a hospital entails a heavy responsibility . This job is not that easy to accomplish . Basically , my dream of being a Healthcare administrator is not only a dream for employment . I look at my dream as a vocation . Being a Healthcare Administrator is a noble profession for me . A hospital is not only an ordinary place . It is a place where people are treated for different kinds of diseases and injuries . Dealing with human lives makes such profession on a more serious level . There is no profession in the world that is better as far as I can conceive than being a part of the team that saves lives
