In Middle East Ottoman empire , was known to be one of the biggest influential and longest in Middle East history . Ottoman Empire was largely comprised of the Muslim community it was brought about cultivated , inspired and made to survive by Islam and other institutions ran by Muslims (Albert , 1990 )This empire became more popular than Byzantine in terms of power control an eventually replaced it , in the Eastern side of Mediterranean . The State of Ottoman started as a small state in Turkey which had its origins in Asia Minor at the time the Empire of Seljuk Turks broke down The Turks from Ottoman absorb other states and finally ended in local dynasties of Turkey . This happened during Mohammed II reign between 1457-1481 (Edward , 2004 ) Ottoman Empire began to expand under Orkan Murad and Beyazid and overshadowed Byzantine Empire , Serbia and Bulgaria . In 1326 , the fall of Bursa took place as well as Adrianople in 1361 . Each became capital of empire . In 1389 , in Kosovo Ottoman victored and Nikopol in 1396 . Balkan was therefore placed under the rule of Ottoman . Europe was awakened by this rule since they felt it posed a danger to them (Leslie , 2003 )The siege of Ottoman of Constantinople as a result was lift when Timur came into the scene .
