Next , the organization should be able to identify the values involved with the situation in to proceed to the next step which is resolving what exactly the issue is After that , objections can be raised and should therefore be addressed in to further strengthen the options being weighed . Finally , the organization can then implement the resolution that has been agreed upon by the body

Procedures in Resolving the Ethical Issue

In to concretize the ethical issue , it is imperative to provide a hypothetical scenario as the background . For instance , a managed healthcare organization is being urged by the parents of the child to operate on the child 's brain . The brain of the child has tumor and is considered as a terminal disease , one which is beyond medical resolution through the use of drug medications . The parents still insist on making their child undergo surgical operation as a resort to cure the child even though they already know that the life status of the child is terminal

Meanwhile , the managed healthcare organization is offering new and experimental treatments for certain patients selected after the organization 's review of the applications . This is in lieu of the organization 's aim to further strengthen the expansion of the coverage of the health services they provide as part of their commitment to develop high quality care to patients
