elements that are to this . First , the degree of the conflict that exists between the employees does not necessarily affect their commitment to the organization (Dana , 2000 . Second , the sense of commitment that they hold can either decrease or increase depending on the outcome (Dana , 2000 . It is mentioned by the author that when the conflict is successfully resolved , the commitment increases and where it is left unresolved , the level of commitment decreases . The different parties involved in conflict definitely have their own perception of the other party . They hold their own understandings biases , beliefs , and judgment of the other . How one person views the other is definitely what limits their perception of the situation and the opposing party . If the perception of one party is in line with that of the other , then conflict between them is absent at the very least or minimized . On the other hand , the conflict arises when there is a difference between how the other party sees the other and that they hold differences with regard to this . It is difficult for the parties involved to establish a harmonious relationship when there are differences in the perceptions they have of one another and this worsens especially when they are not able to relieve their selves of the issues and concerns they have . As Fujishin (2007 ) enumerates the causes of interpersonal conflict , the author mentions the differences in values beliefs , culture , personalities , and communication styles . Perceptions encompass and are affected by all the elements mentioned herein
