It has recently expanded outside the United States penetrating the market of Western Europe and Pacific Rim Areas . Its goal is to outsource significant manufacturing portion of the Orient . Since they are new i n the business and the change is immediate , they are now experiencing rapid growth pains in all of their product lines . Because of the nature of the business , the burden lies in their in the Sales Department . Under the Sales Department is the Customer Service Department was there have been encountered problem on the manager 's effort to standardize the sales and customer services transactions . This manager 's ac tion wa s in response to the rapid sales growth . He wanted to even out the way of addressing to the customers concerns and feedback . There has been no mentioned consultation within the regional sales department before this change was implemented , thus , this caused to the elimination of a number of positions and others has been downgraded . This conflict further created havoc in the relationships of the units and members of the organization . Meanwhile , some viewed it a as positive change and expected that it will further improved the company 's communication and teamwork . As the demand for the company 's products continue to increase and the company itself keeps on growing , another problem spurred . These were the reported cases of unsatisfied customers who happened to receive the wrong s , specifically , wrong widgets . This will create a huge effect to the company as a whole , since , this will definitely create a negative feedback towards the image of the organization . Point of View In solving the case , we will be basing it from the point of view of the manager , since he has the greatest control over all matter . But we will not overlook the head of every regional sales department since , their opinion count because they are the one who are familiar of the needs of their area . Analysis of the Case Situation The S uperior Widget Corporation is on the verge of expansion . They are trying to cope up effectively and efficiently with the growing needs of their consumers , but since it is a new company and the changes implemented were immediate , they are facing problems as well .
