Since the beginning of civilization , man has always strived to get the right food to suffice him . After years of nomadic life when he finally discovered agriculture , man made a giant leap for himself in terms of development . As time passed by , science and development was put into agriculture and other foods , but as man

's basic nature of deception took on , every good technology started being used for the wrong reasons Today the vegetables and meat which is consumed all have to go through artificial objectors like growth hormones , additives , artificial fertilizers and ionized radiations . To a very high level the food is becoming non-natural and is not providing its true amount of nutrients as it is suppose to . The organic food which is free of the above artificial said add-ons is a booming industry in the United States of America . The people have realized it and it has created big pluses for the organic industry in the country . The organic industry is going at rapid pace and the following will give an insight of the rapid acceleration of growth of the industry

2005 . Organic foods , still by far the largest and most clearly defined part of the organic industry , grew 16 .2 in 2005 and accounted for 13 .8 billion in consumer sales . The 13 .8 billion in consumer sales of organic foods in 2005 represented 2 .5 of `penetration rate ' that has grown from 0 .8 in 1997 . The organic food industry can be said was a private product of the `Whole food supermarket ' for a very long time . The whole food chain is owned by `Horizon Organic , which can be termed as one of the largest organic food producer of U .S . The actual industry of organic food has been largely of small farmers but today this industry is being slowly taken over by major corporate which have been bossing the markets in regular food industry for very long time . Companies like Heinz , Tyson and Frito-lay which are big corporate institutes of regular food are entering into organic food and companies like `Deans Food Co ' which are the main architects of food supplies in supermarkets are taking over massive organic companies like `Horizon Organic .
