The Obesity Liberation Initiative is d to present this proposal for your review . We look forward to partner with you in eradication of obesity among the Mexicans Americans through a program called Obesity Liberation . Though obesity has reached epidemic proportion and is dramatically affecting the health of adults and children nationwide and it 's increasing across all ethnicities and social classes , the Mexican Americans are experiencing the highest rates . Furthermore , they are also experiencing the

highest rates of type-2 diabetes and Hypertension

In our effort to address this problem we intend to initiate this program . Our proposal requests 60 ,000 in funding to rent venue and obtain equipments , professional personnel and meet other related costs The program will initially target at a population of 60 persons every 4 months with the hope of progressing to accommodate larger population
