Globalization started as early as 1960 but started to become popular in 1980s and 1990s . This is because it was viewed as a long process because it was difficult to track human population , civilization growth and globalization as well . Modern globalization started after the Second World War two and it came as a result of proper planning by the economists , people started growing interest in businesses and there were some politicians who realized globalization . The work of the politicians led to the founding of some institutions that were meant to be international to oversee the processes that were associated with globalization
