In leisurely activities such as concerts , parties , and clubs , the sound pressure level in the location usually exceeds the healthy level , and this could lead to hearing impairment (World Health Organization , 1995 Thus , the responsibility to have established occupational standards that control noise exposure to employees and the neighborhood lies in the owner of the establishment . Regulatory agencies of the government should require certain standards that must be met before a club can operate Such requirements may include community protection , such as screens and vegetation , and private protection costs , such as sound insulating windows (World Health Organization , 1995 . Considering that radon is not susceptible of sensory detection , the only way to ensure that a residential place does not have dangerous levels of radon is to test such location for the dangerous gas (United States Environmental Protection Agency , 2006 .
