Abstract

This is intended to show why the Americans with Disabilities Act or ADA , works with President George Bush 's No Child Left Behind Initiative . Too many children in America are not receiving the proper education because of developmental disabilities or the lack of resources to adequately teach those with serious needs . Every child deserves a chance to succeed on his or her own merits but

schools are failing to live up their obligations . I hope to demonstrate why the legislation is wonderful in theory and disastrous in practice
