p History of Morals History of Morals Essay Name University / College Course and Course Number Professor 1 History of Morals A moralist is aware about the contrasting views of moral feeling in Europe . As such , the of being refined , old and sensitive is associated with awkwardness and being young pertaining to the said moral feeling . The term Science of Morals ' is also considered arrogant and opposite to good taste . Nietzsche provides the preliminaries before a person understands the theory of types of morality . First

, a person must admit that he needed to do things that are necessary
Second , there is a need to assemble and organize in a conceptual manner the set of delicate feelings
of value as well as its differences to be justified in a situation
Nietzsche is also taking a perspective with respect to philosophers who are trying hard to
understand morality as a science . He is also aware that these philosophers are finding for the
rational basis of morality and to be able to provide the same . The problem with this is that , the said
philosophers are not aware that morality is something given (Johnston , 2008 ,

phenomenon was explained by Nietzsche that in to have a wide variety of the knowledge
pertaining to moral facts , there should be an effort to compare several moralities
Moreover , it was pointed out by Nietzsche that there is a lack of problem related to the
science of morality . There was even no suspicion that there wa a problem on morality . Good faith is
also seen as a denial that there was a problem of morality . One principle that will enhance ethics is
the thought that , one should hurt no one , instead help everyone as much as you can (Johnston , 2008
p . 1 . Finally , Nietzsche thought of the history of morals as the constant establishment of eternal
values so that the possibility of an existence of man in the future although there is overall
degeneration of man
