The Call for Change Last year , America made yet another history as they voted for the first African-American president of the most powerful country in the world Barack Hussein Obama became the 44th president of the United States of America last January 20 and the whole world was watching . Celebrities former leaders and ordinary people came to the historic National Mall in Washington to witness history . Balls and parties followed right after and it was undeniably the most star-studded inaugural ball ever . It was no surprise since celebrities have been obviously promoting

him last campaign period . Obama souvenirs are just everywhere and the whole world has caught the Obama fever . But what could be the most watched and celebrated inauguration ever turned out to be a disappointment to some as the president failed to ease economic turmoil in his speech . However the article of Joe Klein from Time Magazine last January 21 , 2009 was the complete opposite . The report was titled Obama Promises New Destiny Work Begins Today . The article gushes about how Obama did well in his speech and blatantly saying the reforms he is going to make despite the presence of former president George Bush . His speech was quite simple compared to his previous one during the elections .
