Websites should try to inform prospective customer 's added details , such as actual pictures of items being ed specifications aside from price . Some added details could be supplied thru e-mail for confirmation . However , some people are too busy to look at their e mails that causes delay in delivery . Websites should therefore be consistent in their ads , truth in what they are advertising , and no exaggerations
Question No . 3 . Have you become more price conscious now that websites give so much competitive information about price and coupons for so many products that are readily available ? Is that a good thing or not for marketers ? Yes , competitive advertising gives consumer a chance to compare prices of similar products , since substitutes are many Loyalty to brands and trust to companies may be one of the reasons why consumers would not consider price discounts . Competition would lead to the marketers putting more effort in keeping their products at par with other brands , and that giving price discounts and coupons are just one of their marketing tools . Marketing tools strengthen their hold to consumers , like holding raffles and price discounts that would account for more sales
Question No . 4 . Integrated marketing communication efforts are designed to create a good image for a firm , one that is consistent . Do sites like these fit into such a scheme ? Why or why not ? My answer is no , websites are not designed for integrated marketing communication since it does not use customers ' information in their marketing strategy . It is addressed to wide audience and not focused on a particular segment of the market and products offered are for general consumption . Websites visited offers roses , cakes , phone card , and others of general interest . An integrated marketing uses customer 's data base information in formulating its marketing plans and strategies for a particular product . It also requires customer 's response in to evaluate their buying habits and to determine if these strategies are effective (Wirth , R . 2007
