Neutrality in the network is the theory that broadband clients should be in given liberty on what they should view and what they use on the Internet . The net has functioned in accordance to this network neutrality rule since it was made available to the public . In its simplest definition , network neutrality is to ensure everybody to have equal access to the broadband network . With this principle , internet service providers should not be allowed to utilize their resources to categorize against applications provided by their competitors . This is in analogy

with the current setting of telephone systems where companies are not limiting their clients about anything they should say , the same manner that broadband companies should not dictate what the people want to do while online

Network neutrality is a standard that is given to clients or subscribers of broadband service , and virtually to all network system An impartial broadband set-up is one particular connection that is open from of constraints with respect to the type of equipment the system is associated with . It should also be open on the communication method permitted in the network . A broadband arrangement does not hamper access on sites , webpage , and others where connections are reasonably blocked by other communication media
