Nature
[Student 's Full Name] [Name of Professor] [Subject /Course Code] [Date] Poets on Nature Today 's society has become more aggressive in their fight against Global Warming , an environmental crisis that has been a major issue in the twentieth century . In various crusades and campaigns environmentalists have sought to explain the gravity of the problem of Global Warming in society today by providing facts and figures to humankind to open their eyes on the extent of the problem . Poets , too have also made their contribution in the quest to

address the issue of Global Warming by providing readers the beauty that nature has through their poems . This will provide information on how the messages of the poems of William Wordsworth 's I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud ' and Robert Frost 's Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening ' may be able to remind today 's society of the beauty of nature that is slowly disappearing as a result of human 's activities
While both poems are simple and short , they have much depth in their meaning . Wordsworth 's I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud ' revisits the subject of nature with such melodic eloquence . It describes the discovery of a poet of a field of daffodils by a lake as a result of his wanderings . The vision s him and serves as a source of comfort during his time when he found himself to be bored , lonely and restless The poet carries this vision in his memory and during events that he would begin to feel feelings of anxiety brought about by boredom and loneliness , the vision would comeback to his memory which is the bliss of solitude (Wordsworth . The poem also depicts the oneness of man and nature by personifying the poet in the first two lines as a cloud that floats on high ' and the ability for the daffodils to dance and [toss] their heads (Wordsworth . As such , Wordsworth 's poem reminds its readers on the healing therapy that nature is able to bring , a therapy that is slowly disappearing as a result of Global Warming
On the other hand , Robert Frost 's poem centers on the seductiveness and attractiveness of the woods . The conflict of the poet in the poem on whether to continue on into the woods or to remain at the edge of the woods represents that conflict faced by humankind today with regards to the Global Warming . The disapproval made by the horse by him [giving] his harness a shake as if to ask if there is some mistake (Frost symbolizes the current dilemma faced by human society in the quest to conquer Global Warming . On one hand , the speaker is overwhelmed and enticed by the beauty that the snow-covered woods present and on the other hand , the persistence to remain that could be considered as a step backwards from progress . The ending of the poem leaves a promise . This could be likened to the vow of humankind to the preservation of nature that...
