This is a review of the 6th Generation Apple iPod Classic , 160GB . First released on September 7 , 2007 , this 6th generation iPod has been in my possession for one year and eight months . With barely a scratch on it , I say , this little piece of music equipment will last for another five years and is definitely worth the orginal price of US 349 plus , plus accessories

This particular item is an upgrade of the 5th Generation Ipod Classic more commonly known as the video iPod . Physically , it hardly had any major changes

but feature-wise , in capacity alone , it is 275 better With dimensions of 2 .4 in x 0 .6 in x 4 .1 in and LCD of 2 .5 in , this iPod , though thinner than it 's lower-capacitied predecessor , is still considered big and bulky in the mp3 world . However , this mp3 player also functions as a hard disk drive . In the hard disk drive world , this item is small and quite handy

Nobody thinks of iPods without its complementary software : iTunes . I applaud Apple for this great marketing strategy . However , I personally believe that iTunes is so bad . It is slow and quite a hassle to use also , some old computers may not be compatible with it at all . The 6th Generation iPod only functions with the latest version of iTunes . It is recommended that people intending to purchase this iPod test their computers first on whether iTunes would function
