Abstract

The United States being a culturally diverse state has the Caucasians as the majority race , while the African Americans among others being the minority race . This is mostly so because the white Americans claim to be the original descendants of the US while the minority groups are immigrants . African Americans have over time evolved from being in the shadow background of the Caucasians and have taken leadership positions as a result

of getting educated . Having come out of the shell of primitively , the African Americans are slowly and steadily accessing what initially was reserved for the white race . However they are still affected by issues such as poverty , inadequate healthcare facilities and low standards of education that their children access
