Military soldiers are usually and ready set with arms to attack their enemies . Then why should there be losers if they are all set ? Is War victory achieved by good physical defense singly , or through both physical and psychological preparation ? Many people think that , with many army Soldiers and defensive arms , the victory is guranteed .This has analyzed the need for Military armies to study military history despite their tight schedules , as the study enhances both physical

and psychological preparation . My hypothesis is that the study made by soldiers during military training gives the army soldiers idea on War principles which highlights how to prepare both physically and psychologically , thus attaining victory . It 's also through study that the solders can know the decisions the past leaders took , the decisions results and how to modify them for best results Military history involves conflicts using arms . The American army came into existence in the eighteenth century in the western world , before which only soldiers or opposing armies ' clashes without creating any impact to the common people . The clashes aimed at winning national honor and the territories . At this time industries were under developing a factor that contributed to warfare complexity exerting an increasing influence on the society . In the beginning of twentieth century the effects of the war increased to an extent that it was felt through out the entire world

Military history interacts with political , economical , diplomatic intellectual and social trends in a given society . Its understanding requires the knowledge of both the military art and general history as it lies in between general history , and military art and science Despite the Americans traditional believe that they were unmilitary and peaceful people , the war incidences in the past two centuries have been wide and frequent to an extent the United States has endured bitter civil war participated in seven international wars since then . American Nation underwent changes in wars from limited like the eighteenth century variety that involved the war of 1812 and the 1950-53 Korean conflict , to involved usage of nuclear weapons and affected civilization . When diplomacy was unable to work the war was taken as definable exercise in violence and the burden of achieving victory was handed over to soldiers by statesmen , and formal ceremonies were held to mark which started by declaration at the beginning and a surrender and peace treaty at the end . These were out fashioned since the World War II , blurring both peace and war (Black , 2004
