With the superb leadership skills of Bill Gates , Microsoft 's sustainable competitive advantages boosted up and dominate the market for computers

Alongside with the increase in the demand of consumer groups with personal computers , Microsoft were able to take advantage of the rising trend in the demand for personal computers that made them become the leader in the computer software-hardware industry . During the first years of establishment of Microsoft , there was a time wherein they find it hard to compete head on with other existing computer companies . But with the tremendous amount of capitals to work with , Microsoft was able to finance their researches in improving their products and so with the rest of the story

There are a lot of factors that contributed to where Microsoft is standing right now . The main purpose of this is dwell much on the internal qualities of Microsoft and be able to link it with the success that this company has been experiencing for the past 30 years of operation of the said company , like on how they efficiently manages their labor force considering the diversified cultures that they have and how the organizational structure of this company affects the performance of their operation and the like . I would also present some of the flaws of Microsoft that has been experiencing or currently faces and provide alternatives to solve these said flaws for further development of Microsoft

The ability of this great leader to work the market into his hands made them not just the powerful computer company but also an influential multi-national corporation due to its international operations .
