However there are still some implications both positive and negative that need to be addressed before it can be said that the system is effective International trade is a great opportunity for workers especially for those who are employed by companies with greater market shares Usually , the workers that belong to multinational companies that operate globally are in the better position for they will always have job opportunities to meet the demands of the

international market . However those workers that belong in the developing or smaller markets may be threatened to lose their jobs . This is because of the fact that products and services coming from any types of economies will approach equality in terms of tariffs and volume therefore making it for developing and small country products to be outdone by well known brand names . On the other end , international trade can also mean job losses for workers in the industrialized nations like the United States for the global job market will also be opened . Companies may shift their operations to countries that offer very cheap labor costs . Meanwhile , workers in the developing nations may have a chance to increase their job availabilities for their respective populations when multinational companies invest in their economies
