The Buddhist Sanghas are actively involved in the society and temples which often run orphanages , schools , homes for the disabled and medical clinics . For instance Truc Lam 's Zen Monastery is situated in South Vietnam Da Lat city and this being one of the largest Zen meditation study centers in Vietnam . The Truc Lam 's Zen Monastery is being taught by the respected Thich Tanh Tu , a well-known teacher in meditation over many decades . The learned lectures and teachings are followed , practiced , embraced and circulated in various forms of media through out the world by Vietnamese Buddhist
