Several young people in developing countries today that have severed or weakened family ties , are exposed to social stigmatization and are not to institutions such as formal workplace , youth clubs , or most importantly school . Teenagers who drop out or do not attend school by reason of unplanned pregnancy miss out several of the fundamentals of education , such as writing and reading skills , science , and mathematics These teenagers are as well disadvantaged for the reason that they lose an important opportunity to gain knowledge of reproductive health in a classroom , which is considered as credible and stable environment . These affected youth are susceptible to misinformation from untrustworthy sources or perhaps never learn about the issues at all . Although several parents carry out their roles as educators by candidly communicating these reproductive health apprehensions with their children , others steer clear of the for the reason of lack of skills or knowledge or embarrassment
