The condition becomes evident in the later stages where the individual begins to display changes in their emotional and hormonal balances . However , there exist symptoms which characterize the condition so that early treatment can be applied . Awareness

Effects of Mental Health
Mental illness is caused by a number of factors both simple and complex which in some circumstances combine resulting to the condition According to Barry (2002 ) the factors include genetics , personality economic conditions , personal experiences and biology among others . It can be deduced that these factors are internal and external thus making the human body susceptible to suffering from mental illnesses . Its symptoms are most notable where the individual changes their mode of thinking , experiencing mood swings and behaviour . Similar to physical health , mental health is important as the two complement each other in conducting their functions . Notable physical effects caused by mental illness include diabetes , weight gain or loss , less effective immune system , high or low blood pressures , stomach ulcers and heart diseases...
