Media Communications Feedback : Addressing Obesity in New Jersey

In developing a preventive care program that would seek to address the risks of obesity in an inner city in New Jersey , there is a need to be aware of the state of obesity in New Jersey . Therefore , we ask : What is the state of obesity in New Jersey , and how does it relate to the state of obesity in the United States

To answer this , we come to the Center for Health Statistics under the

New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services . In

the Health Data Fact Sheet written in July 2006 , it says that there is an `obesity epidemic ' in the U .S , and those that are inflicted are usually men and young children . According to the source , One in three Americans , or 58 million people , are considered overweight or obese (New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services , 2006 ,
