Probability is the chance that a thing may occur and brings in the idea of data in fulfilling the requirements of probability . Data is the collection of organized information that is supposed to fulfill a premise e .g . numbers . Additionally , statistics come into play in understanding the usefulness of the data that was collected . Therefore statistics is the method of collecting , summarizing and analyzing numerical data .
