Even if you go to a party with your spouse 's knowledge , there is always a time limit wherein you have to go home at the time you agreed upon , or even though there is no time constraint , you still have to communicate (e .g . via text messaging phone call etc ) with your partner from time to time , informing him /her where you are , what you are doing and so on and so forth . Being single on the other hand , gives you greater freedom to attend every party in town , to get drunk all night until the wee hours of the morning , etc You can do everything you want as long as you have the resources and the strength to do it . Most of the single people get scared of being tied down they feel that once they get married , the fun stops instantly With freedom in mind , there are people who opt to be single . These people tend to be afraid of getting married because of the fear of losing their freedom or losing themselves in marriage
In terms of financial capability and employment , married people especially when they have kids , have the need to have better jobs because they would have more responsibilities , more bills to pay , hence need more income . The pressure of earning is coupled with the challenge of finding jobs , especially for women . Most companies wouldn 't hire a married woman , because they would be thinking of these facts : maternity leaves , absences due to sick children , etc .
