Background

Automobile industry has grown exponentially in terms of development and innovation and by giving us what we dreamt of . Over the years this industry has delivered the best cars , demonstrating qualities of performance and reliability appreciated till date . This industry has gone through some spectacular technological advances and is constantly trying to cope up with ever changing needs of the customers in the global community

Underlying Idea p

Disabled people in UK are left behind as technological advances are more focused at the mass market . Hence disabled people , who want to travel out side their homes find it very hard . They struggle to get into the car from their wheel chair exposing them to the danger of being hurt . To get into a car they need to first open the door of the car , while seated on the wheel chair . This compels them to stretch their hands to open the door

Alternatively they are put in a situation where they become dependent on others to help them to open the door and get into their car . People who have hand injuries , who want to travel and must not exert pressure on their hands can benefit from this invention . Old people who want to travel alone and who find it hard to pull the door , can make their life easier , if they can have the car door opened automatically

I wanted to do invent something for the disabled people in this world UK in itself has significant number of people who are disabled and they have to spend a lot of money in case they need help to travel around Also old people who constitute a good percentage in the population can be focused

Product Overview

Definition My invention is motors that help to open the door automatically . The door needs to be unlocked and then upon a press of a button the drivers door opens up to 60 Deg

Working Principle Car doors are grooved to the frame with the help of the hinges . Hence replacing these hinges is not possible . Hence my invention needs to find its place in the same vicinity of these hinges These motors work in unison with the door lock interface . When the button is pressed the motors generate the centrifugal force to push the door outwards . The force generated can be controlled using the remote

How it Works My invention at this point is an automatic car door opening motor , which opens car door automatically when the button is pressed This is so designed that these motors will be connected to the door-locking interface . These motors will be powered through connections to the battery . There will be an additional button included in the car key to open the driver 's door
