The study also examined the relationship between two design

constructs , two performance measures , level of interactivity and design sophistication and the entire measure of contingency variables , market turbulence and the age of the website . The study uses sample from listed small businesses in the online directory of Yahoo under telecommunications , electronics and computer . The result of this study shows that the level of interactivity of specific website is positively correlated with the business performance but not connected with the number of visitors of the website . In addition , the result shows that the website and performance are positively associated under high levels of market turbulence but not connected under low levels market turbulences . The result of the study recommends that the performance of a website is influence differently by different design and that multidimensional measures of performance are important for effective evaluation of performance
