Introduction :--

Fire protection is the business of providing help to people during emergency and mergency operations . Fire protection includes the services like fire prevention , life safety , fire suppression , and rescue services to the citizens . This includes response to conduct vehicle extrication , hazardous materials mitigation , confined space rescue , advance life support emergency medical services , disaster response , and fire life safety code enforcement . The main concern should be on establishing an adequate level of equipment and personnel response to control

the emergency scene or incident . For this we require efficient equipments . So , that the number of casualties in a fire should be decreasing

Problem statement :--

The main problem of ours is lack of efficient number of equipments . To ensure the safety of citizens we need these equipments . And some of the equipments are also needed to curb the fire . Therefore in this essay we will tell you about equipments and modern security measures

Fire and Safety Pedagogy :-

People should be made aware of using the tools . They are taught to how to use the equipments . The general awareness cannot only prevent the fire but also can save their lives They should be provided manual systems so that they can alert other building occupants and can call the fire department after discovering a fire

Some buildings are equipped with a manual fire alarm system that requires a person to discover the fire and then pull a lever or push a button . A restaurant cooking area or a laboratory hood with a local application system that sounds an alarm and activates the suppression system can have a manual switch for people to operate . Street box systems are also manual fire alarm systems . To make them work , a person must be present , awake , and alert to discover the fire and then activate the system

A public education program and proper signs at the pull station can help teach people about the need to call the fire department . Public education programs usually take three general forms :--

Public service announcement :- a simple , inexpensive , and timely method of spreading fire safety messages is to use the media Radio , television , and newss are always willing to assist public agencies with their efforts . Short five to ten second television or radio spots or small news articles can be used for delivering safety messages on such seasonal s as drowning prevention , fire works safety , smoke detector maintenance etc

School programs :- fire safety and education programs for elementary school children can be valuable and productive . These programs are designed to teach students the dangers of fire how to prevent fires from happening , and what to do if they are caught in a fire

School evacuation drills :- an effective fire prevention program in schools should be a matter of high priority to not only the fire department and school staff but to the community as a whole . Emergency exit drills are necessary to ensure that students and staff...
