This , then , makes a thorough analysis of the scenario to come up with a conclusion as to whether it will be profitable for AIC to export the tool to garment factories in India , or not
General Observation
India is in a region surrounded by countries that are booming competitors in the garment industry . Apart from the local brands international brands such as Nike , Adidas , Puma , Levi 's and Reebok , just to name a few , outsource to these countries and get their clothing made there . Surrounding countries such as Sri Lanka , Bangladesh , Pakistan and other countries such as Thailand , Bangkok and China are already garment industry giants If not giants , then active competitors , theless From India 's perspective , an edge over the other countries at this point would prove to be a very beneficial tool . India is a populated country with a high local demand for clothing and garments , as well as countless trading opportunities . India already exports to counties all over the world such as the U .S .A , Britain , Australia , New Zealand and Canada just to name a few (Indian Textile Statistics , 2008 . Most of these countries import garments from India as well . The garment printing tool by the AIC will give Indian garment factories a much needed edge over its rival countries and result in boosting local sales as well as exports of ready made garments that are more profitable than exporting semi-manufactured fabric .
