Executive summary

There is a problem at Aussies Retails . Sales are not doing well as a result of economic conditions . The CEO decides that cost cutting measures have to be taken

and effects this decision by liaising with the departmental managers . Thomas , being the production manager , does the implementation by first calling a meeting through a toughly worded but brief memo . The memo causes tension in the organization threatening a crisis in the department . This report takes an in depth analysis of the case by looking at Thomas ' choice of method to communicate the issue Furthermore , it makes an analysis into the issues that made the communication have reverse effect before delving into the remedial measures
