What is managed care
Managed care is a system of delivering healthcare in such a way that the costs of the service , quality and the utilization of the service is provided and handled by one healthcare organization , and under one roof Such an organization is known as the `Health Maintenance organization or the `HMO . The patients are provided health plans or health packages that cover their health needs . According to the condition the patient suffers from , he /she could subscribe to a particular health plan Managed care has continuously evolved as a system of deliverance of healthcare in the US .
