At some points of his life , he has many followers , and even after his death , many people remained to admire him . However , Malcolm X 's life didn 't start that well . Malcolm X 's life was actually a rough start . He was born in an underprivileged family , and his parents were struggling to make both ends meet . Malcolm went to school , but despite all his efforts , life was hard for African Americans like him back then . He was often discriminated by the people around him , judging him by his color without even knowing his potentials . He lived a harsh life , both because of his underprivileged family and his ethnicity .
