The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell

Awareness , this is the prevailing element that is present within the work of Malcolm Gladwell . They say that prevention is the best cure for any disease , and indeed it is . By reading The Tipping Point , the effect upon the reader is so profound that it is very probable that the change within him comes right away and not after a keen and careful

deliberation of the words in the book which were with utmost conviction The reader 's perception is will surely be changed to the extent that he may acquire the necessary knowledge in to be a precipitator of change and cease being a victim . For instance , the fact that virtually every civilized individual knows that cigarette smoking is hazardous is not a fact at all , the reason being cannot be found at all , and yet the number of youngsters addicted to the vice is alarming . The book can be considered as one of a kind , and there are many reasons to back up such assumption . One , yes , the book triggers change within oneself and yet it does not stay in a somewhat of a stagnancy stage that other books do medical help books only serve as warnings and are in no way analytical Moreover , adding to the fact that they grossly describe the consequences in an imposing and scaring manner , they do not meticulously scrutinize the underlying reasons why change is seemingly absent from the lives of the reading public . It is as if books that like are undoubtedly beneficial for they give an overview of all possible consequences of a particular thing , but what they lack is the conviction and the utmost persuasion to ignite immediate changes

Malcolm Gladwell ventured into a dimension not yet fully explored by the medical field and its disciples , he had gone down to the root of the problem , and had successfully analyzed the underlying factors of medical maladies . Theoretically speaking , he did so by thoroughly putting himself in the public shoes and feeling their perception and psychoanalyzed them , and hence , the effect on the reader surpasses any gross warning any medical book has ever inflicted upon its reader
