Who was Malcolm X

According to Myers and Dean (1993 , Malcolm X was an African American activist who lived in the United States between the periods 1925 to 1965 . Dyson , Michael and Eric (1995 , add that his views and thoughts about racial problems during his times had an important influence on Black Nationalist movement of the 1950s and early 1960s . Malcolm X also believed that Western nations were racist and that black people must join together to build their own society

and value system . On this note Sales and William (1994 ) add that during his last days , he came to be widely known by the religious name El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz meaning the Malcolm or Malik , who is from the tribe or family of Shabazz and has made the Hajj , or pilgrimage , to Mecca
