In recent years , the issue became especially topical because of financial crises , which brings the need to reduce expenditures considerably . It is important to mention that such discussion raises a lot of concerns as livestock production dramatically affects dietary and nutrition issues . Some scholars find negative impact of flesh dieting on people 's health . The scholars also reveal that some resources , such

as food , directed on the development of livestock production could be effectively used in order to resolve problems of feeding and starvation .
