Franklin D .Roosevelt 's and Herbert Hoover 's Views on Liberty

The times of Great Depression were grim in the U .S . and the whole world : the banking system has collapsed , the unemployment peaked and business was globally unreliable

The two articles (Roosevelt , 1934 and Hoover , 1936 ) both issue the problems of government measures to end the crisis . Roosevelt concentrates on real economic performance of his New Deal politics . This is understandable , as in 1934 the country was still on the verge of falling back into crisis
