As a young child , I have always been concerned with the welfare of my family , and of the people around me . From Asia , I moved to the United States with high hopes of having a better future . While in Ohio , I was involved with the Family Nutrition Program of the Ohio State University The kind of exposure that was given to me was beneficial in my growth as an individual and as a professional . The succeeding experiences were not as difficult as they may seem , for these were relieved by the fact that I was learning and becoming more accustomed to my chosen life
