p Sleepy Hallow is simple , yet mysterious fable in which Ichabod Crane acts as protagonist . Ichabod becomes the victim of feared headless horseman after believing the superstitious tales of this spirit preying in the night . It had a casual story and gentle irony , is clearly autobiographical . There were no doubt that the locale Irving describes is a real fixture of time and place . It is an area Irving visited several times during his younger years The author organized the story with a combination of an ere story romanticism and hanging ending . The

beginning of the story was describe the place of sleepy hollow and how the superstitious tale of the headless horseman became a reality and haunted the people around town And also how Ichabod crane develops his love to Katrina . The ending was not satisfying for the readers , for this fearful tale became a hanging and gives the readers an idea to thing about what happen to the main character Ichabod Crane
The first to fourteen chapter tells the story how Ichabod crane and Katrina 's love fall in love and with a mix of terror of the headless horseman and the rest of the story was full of terror and exciting events that in the end the main character disappear and the town people just saw the hat of Ichabod Crane and beside was the pumpkin of the headless horseman

Even though it was about the main character story the author of the tale was connected with the place also so i think it is appropriate for the story
