Leadership-member exchange theory is more appropriate to one as it guarantees the employees , the feeling of being part of the system (in-group ) and eliminates the negative impacts and inequalities associated with out-group

Fiedler 's leadership theory is a model based on both industrial and organizational psychology . It states that Leadership style can be generally termed on a consistent interaction that occurs between leaders and work groups . In Fielder 's view this relationship is dependent on the leader 's personality and as such is fixed and can thus , measured by the model he calls least Co-worker (LPC ) scale . It measures an individual 's leadership orientation . The scale is 1 - 8 a high LPC score shows that he /she is human relations oriented while a low LPC score suggests a task orientation . Fiedler urges that thee is no ideal leader , that both of these can be effective depending on whether this style fits the situation . When I was in high school mathematics was not my favourite subject , however , my teacher did not interact with at a personal level to understand my problem so I did not develop any interest at all and my grades got even worse

The five personality traits are dimensions of personality exhibited by an individual . They include
Agreeableness this is the tendency of a leader /person to show compassion and be co-operative instead of being antagonistic and suspicious towards a work group
Neurotism Ability to experience emotions considered to be unpleasant like anxiety , vulnerability , anger or even depression
Conscientiousness this is the ability to exhibit self-discipline , being dutiful while also aiming for achievement that is planned and not spontaneous
Openness to experience this is being able to appreciate things like art , adventure , emotion , imagination and curiosity
Extroversion this is the Exhibiting energy , positive emotions surveyancy while also seeking stimulation and the company of others
My pastor is generally an agreeable person he is open to experience while preaching he often exhibits a lot of sseeking the company of the congregation . He is very dutiful self-disciplined , however , he often gets angered and irritated easily
