The section 1 (1 ) of the Horses (Protective Headgear for Young Riders Act 1990 prescribes an offence under this Act . The offence relates to allowing a child under the age of 14 years to ride a horse without wearing a headgear . The relevant regulations to this Act describe the detailed of the headgear and the manner in which the same is to be worn by the child
How is road defined in England , Wales and Scotland
Answer
The Horses (Protective Headgear for Young Riders Act ) 1990 do not directly define a road . It states that in England and Wales , section 192 (1 ) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 defines a road . In Scotland , the Roads (Scotland ) Act 1984 defines a road . However , the Horses (Protective Headgear for Young Riders Act 1990 makes it clear that a road does not include a footpath or a bridleway details about them are included in the Act under reference
