br To kill a Mockingbird , is a story surrounded by demonstration of prejudice , faith , and power . Tom Robinson , a black man who is accusing of raping Bob Ewell 's daughter is being convicted . He is one of the mockingbirds ' of the story . A symbol of innocence that is destroyed by the evil of the town . The morally bound lawyer , Atticas Finch is who takes charge of Robinson 's trial . Even through his attempt of saving him , the racially bound court convicts Robinson . Through out the time of the trial , the Finch family faces

difficulties due to the father helping the black man
Power and authority are misused in some aspects , for example the power of the whites over the blacks . The society , in the novel is doomed in ignorance , and this ignorance caused conflicts within the morally grounded people . Robinson dies as trying to escape from prison . He gets shot . Ewell , who can be ironically named as the evil ' character Not even being satisfied from the death of Robinson , he tries to hurt the Finch family . Radley saves the children from Ewell and disappears at the end . Young Scout learns and embraces her father 's advice on having faith in human goodness . Power can be used for the good and bad How it is used is through the nature of the human . Through out the novel and the real world , the nature of humans is always being explored . Evil and good coexist together
Innocence is portrayed through Scout and Jem who believe people are good since they never seen the evil nature of the world . Lawyers who are seen as controversial people are described through a moral character of Atticus . The lawyer who believes in the good and bad coexisting . As a lawyer , Atticus exhibits power , and through his wealth also . He uses his education and standard to use power in the good way , while Ewell uses the power of his racial character along with the all white court Atticus is also portrayed as the one who teaches his children moral lessons
The difference in social status is shown through the characters . The Finches , who are well off try to help the community . The stereotype of rich people being ignorance is broken here . The country farmers are the ones in the small town who are drowning in their ignorance and poverty Hating the state they are in , they try to bring down the good in other people . Much of the of the black community is poor too , but their good qualities are ignored . The society in this small town is giving status according to color of skin , where as in the world that happens to but many other factors are taken in . These divisions create problems and distractions
Scout and Jem grow learning from their observations of their society Scout 's beliefs grow more mature from the trials of Robinson while Jem faces the harsher side . He starts to loose faith but struggles to belief in the coexistence of nature . However...
