Juvenile delinquency is a term that is given to juveniles involved in crimes . Juveniles are children who have not yet attained the right age to be classified as adults . Depending on the nature of a case , a juvenile can be tried as an adult in a court of law but mostly they are tried in juvenile courts . Some of the crimes which are committed by juveniles range from small crimes such as repeated cutting of school to serious crimes such as theft , murder and felony .
